"Lighthouse" Mixed Media Layout with VIDEO TUTORIAL ~ Scraps of Elegance July Kit

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing my latest project with the "Patricia's Memoirs" Scraps of Elegance July Kit. Gary and I took a trip to the east coast of Florida this spring and visited the delightful St. Augustine lighthouse. I just had to take this shot to capture the lovely architectural lines of the lighthouse beacon.

I've created a video tutorial for you sharing my process and techniques including:

Heating Stenciled Faber-Castell Pearl Texture Luxe to create texture.

Creating a color wash with

Marion Smith Color Lab Sparkling Pigment Powder & Faber-Castell Gelatos.

Creating a wood grain finish on chipboard.

Coloring Flowers.

Creating a textured background.
