Welcome to the October Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop.
Your favorite Hoarders are back with a quarterly hop! We will be hopping once per quarter, starting today! Many of the designers are offering prizes, so make sure you check each blog! I have a chipboard prize package this month for one of our lucky hoppers (from the US). Scroll down for the details and a photo.
You should be coming to my blog from Bonnie Garby. Then after visiting me, hop over to Jacquie Southas! To start at the beginning of the hop, please head over to Gloria Stengel! You can scroll down to the bottom of this post for a full list of designers participating in this month's blog hop.
The theme for this hop is fall or one of the upcoming holidays, so I've created a Thanksgiving home decor piece using lovely fall colors.
This hop is all about using up our hoard. My sweet friend Juliana Michaels gifted these lovely BoBunny Autumn Song papers and embellishments to me a couple years back. I adore the collection, but just never seemed to get around to using it, so thought it would be just perfect for this month's hop.
"Count Your Blessings"
Close Ups
This project is a little different for me. I don't usually use many stickers or precut elements, but adore the sticker sentiments in this collection about family and giving thanks.
Of course I had to add a bit of copper glitter paste to the focal flower.
I combined this sweet banner with the flower chipboard banner to go across the piece, and tucked some copper Prills underneath.
A little stenciling and spatter on the background for a touch of mixed media.
Now, it's prize time!!
I pulled together 5 packs of gorgeous chipboard pieces to send to one of our hoppers. All you have to do is comment on this post and share one or more things you are thankful for. (Because of the cost of international shipping, the prize is available for US hoppers only.)
I will announce a randomly selected winner on October 11, so be sure to drop back by to see if it's you. In the event that I do not hear from the winner within a week, I will draw another name.
Your next stop on the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop is the talented Jacquie Southas. If you have dropped by my blog and would like to start at the beginning, be sure to hop on over to Gloria's blog HERE.
