November Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop

Welcome to the November Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop!

I hope you've been inspired by your hop so far. There are so many ways to use our crafty hoards! I get lots of ideas hopping through the projects of our talented designers each month.

You should be coming to my blog from Jacquie Southas. Then after visiting me, hop over to Donna Idlet! To start at the beginning of the hop, and for the full list of bloggers, please head over to Gloria's Blog!

The splendor of vibrant fall leaves is nearly gone and that means the holidays are just around the corner. I don't know about you, but every year I add more beautiful Christmas paper to my hoard. This year I'm determined to make a dent in it by creating handcrafted cards for family and friends. I've created this quick and easy card to share with you today.

"Merry Christmas"

Tips and Techniques
If you are a regular to my blog, you know that I adore dabbling with mixed media. I had to get in just a little sparkle by spritzing the flower and background with BoBunny Shimmer Spray in Sugar and gold.

Here's a little tip for adhering sheer lace. Of course tape or glue will show through this delicate sheer lace, so I turned it over on a scrap of paper and spritzed it with spray adhesive to adhere to the background paper. Then just toss the scrap that caught the overspray.

The paper and chipboard deer clipboard are from last year's BoBunny Christmas Collage Collection. My dear friend, Juliana Michaels (17 Turtles), gifted me with the BoBunny jewels, flower, and sprays a while back. There's nothing new on this card, and it sure felt good using up a bit of my crafty hoard to create it!!

I hope you've been inspired to grab your Christmas paper and embellishments from years gone by to treat those special people in your life with a handcrafted card they are sure to treasure.

Your next stop on the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop is the talented Donna Idlet. If you have dropped by my blog and would like to start at the beginning, be sure to hop on over to Gloria's blog HERE
